After Round 1 went viral on June 26, 2026, VIVINOS and partners used Anime Expo 2026 (July 2–5, Los Angeles) to announce the parent franchise Alien Stage's largest expansion: an anime series in production and a 2027 3D live world tour. Confusion is common — headlines bundle "Alien Stage" and "Zombie Stage" together because ZOMST premiered nine days earlier. This guide separates confirmed parent-franchise news from ZOMST-specific status so you know what to follow on which channel.

ZOMST remains a YouTube-first horror AU. Nothing at AX 2026 confirmed a ZOMST anime, tour, or Round 2 release date.

Alien Stage Anime (Confirmed)

During the July 3 panel "Animate Presents: Alien Stage – Live Talk & Special Announcement!", Chief Director VIVINOS and KANG PD confirmed an Alien Stage anime adaptation is in production — the franchise's first full serialized TV project beyond YouTube music videos. Official account @Anime_ALNST shared a teaser visual reading "The anime series now in production"; that post exceeded 3.8 million views within days.

3D LIVE ALIEN STAGE Museum in 2372

Frontier Works previewed 3D LIVE ALIEN STAGE Museum in 2372 at AX booth SH-2100 (animate GROUP / Frontier Works exhibition). A 2027 world tour is confirmed for Seoul, Tokyo, and Los Angeles — Alien Stage's first large-scale 3D live concert format. Full tour dates and venues beyond the Tokyo showcase remain TBA on Frontier Works channels.

The AX exhibit featured franchise artwork and exclusive lanyard giveaways. This is an Alien Stage live event; ZOMST characters and songs are not confirmed for the setlist.

Tokyo Showcase (October 2026)

Before the 2027 tour, a standalone showcase runs in Tokyo:

• Venue: Shinagawa Stellar Ball, Shinagawa Prince Hotel, Tokyo

What This Means for Zombie Stage

Media coverage linked Round 1's June 26 premiere to AX announcements because both came from the same creative ecosystem (VIVINOS, QMENG, STUDIO LICO / Forma+9). That proximity does not upgrade ZOMST to anime or tour status.
